“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.” (Philippians 4:8)
The Christian life is a cause for celebration, but sometimes we don’t feel much like celebrating. In fact, when the weight of the world bears down upon our shoulders, celebration is the last thing on our minds. It shouldn’t be. We are blessed beyond measure as God’s children, and our attitude should be one of gratitude and praise.
Today will only be around for 24 hours, and then it’s gone forever. So don’t waste it! Think about yourself and your family with optimism, and give thanks to the one who has given you these blessings.
