I read a piece from Billy Graham recently that reminded me that, as Christians, we have no cause to go around wringing our hands, wondering what we will do in the face of the present world situation. The Scripture says that in the midst of confusion and persecution, we are to comfort one another with the knowledge that Jesus Christ is coming back in triumph, majesty, and glory. I keep realizing that Christ is much bolder, brighter, and more majestic than we can even imagine.
Until he comes again, or calls us home, we should focus on Christ and many of the things of this world will become “strangely dim.” And let us remember Matthew 5:16 – Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
