With all the changes in Washington this week, the word “transformation” has been used to describe a different philosophy of a new president who will be inaugurated on Friday. Our nation will always need our continued prayers.
Yet we should remember that believers who fashion their days around Jesus are also transformed: they see the world differently, they act differently, and they feel differently about themselves and their neighbors.
Thoughtful believers face the inevitable challenges and disappointments of each day armed with the joy of Christ and the promise of salvation. So whatever the days holds for you, begin it and end it with God as your partner and Christ as your Savior.
Romans 12:2 – “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
