For God did not send His Son in to the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:17)
Do you hold fast to this truth? If so, there is no need to feel condemned by others (even if they are Christians). This Scripture is a wonderful reminder that God sent His son because He loved us and wanted to bring us home. He came to save us, not to condemn us. His everlasting mercy overcomes His judgment, fortunately for us.
When we stand before God on the Day of Judgment, He is not going to ask us if we ever came to a point in our life where we intellectually asserted ourselves and thereby came to the conclusion that Jesus was in fact God’s Son.
Ultimately, the only thing that God has called to be in place when you stand before Him is whether you knew Him; whether you have a relationship with Christ.
Could this perhaps mean that God does not send people to hell, but that instead, it is their choice to go there?
What do you think? Do you feel free from condemnation?
